· are taking an antibiotic imodium chloride.
• You may not be able to take Imodium, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during treatment imodium chloride.
• Imodium is in the FDA pregnancy category B imodium chloride. This means that Imodium isnot expected to harm an unborn baby imodium chloride. Do not take Imodium without first talkingto your doctor if you are pregnant imodium chloride.

How should I take Imodium?

What are the possible side effects of Imodium?
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop takingImodium and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat;swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· development of a fever;
· persistent diarrhea (longer than 2 days); or
· blood or mucus in the stool imodium chloride.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur imodium chloride. Continueto take Imodium and talk to your doctor if you experience
· abdominal pain, distention, or discomfort;
· nausea or vomiting;
· constipation;
· tiredness;
· drowsiness or dizziness; or
· dry mouth imodium chloride.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur imodium chloride. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome imodium chloride.

What other drugs will affect Imodium?
• It is not known whether Imodium will interact with other medicines imodium chloride. Talkto your doctor and pharmacist before taking any other prescription or over-the-countermedicines imodium chloride.
